TAKE ACTION: Elimination of the Office on the Economic Status of Women

The Office on the Economic Status of Women is essentially eliminated. I worked closely with the Office to design and pass the landmark Women's Economic Security Act. In a time when Minnesota women still make 80 cents for every dollar a man earns, eliminating the important work of this office makes no sense, especially since its budget is a rounding error in the overall state budget.
